CommScope: What's Next for Intelligent Buildings?

by Julie Clark on October 7, 2013

Growing demands on networks require companies to meet these demands with maximum efficiency, sometimes utilizing new technologies. Data center infrastructure management (DCIM), sensor networks and intelligent LED lighting solutions are just some of the venues through which maximum efficiency is reached.

To offer expert perspective on handling these demands, CommScope is hosting nine one-day customer workshops throughout North America to provide a comprehensive view of trends, technologies and best practices from multiple technology leaders in the data center and smart building industries.

The CommScope road show is an “Innovation@Work” event designed to help businesses and facility managers stay ahead of technology and operational issues they face every day. The event is a fantastic opportunity for industry leaders to learn, collaborate, and network with their peers. It will also serve as a forum to discuss challenges being faced by companies in the market and new innovations to solve these issues. Attendees will hear from experts on different solutions and best practices to advance network technologies for data center environments.

This CommScope event will be joined by experts from Brocade, Avago, Aquantia and IBM to present their views and strategies on a number of technology areas for both the data center and intelligent building environments. Discussions will range from strategies for implementing intelligent building systems to advancements in techologies supporting 10, 40, and 100 Gigabit Ethernet networks. These free shows will travel to Chicago, Seattle, New York, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas, Santa Clara, Calif. and Toronto.
