General Cable Introduces GenSPEED^® 10 MTP^™ thin-profile Category 6a cable 
with enhanced performance 

Presenting General Cable's new GenSPEED 10 MTP Thin-Profile Category 6A cable with enhanced performance. This latest generation of the industry’s premiere 10 Gig cable boasts increased flexibility and improved protection against Alien crosstalk in a reduced 0.275” diameter making it the best performing, thin profile Category 6 unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable available.  

General Cable was pleased to introduce the new GenSPEED^® 10 MTP^™ Thin-Profile Category 6A cable with enhanced performance at the 2014 BICSI Fall Conference in Anaheim, California. 

The thin profile and reduced weight of the GenSPEED 10 MTP Thin-Profile Category 6A cable allow for increased fill capacity for cabling pathways and easier installation, while the internal separator optimizes internal pair geometry to yield superior electrical performance and maintain flexibility. This unique cross-web stabilizes each pair to create a smaller, round cable profile allowing for easy cable tray layout.

Featuring Mosaic Crossblock^™ technology and the 10 MTP unshielded twisted pair (UTP) design, the GenSPEED 10 MTP Thin-Profile Category 6A cable offers the highest protection from external cable noise sources, or alien crosstalk, available in a UTP cable and guarantees +8 dB over the TIA 568-C.2 Standard for both PSANEXT and PSAACRF.
