On August 19, 2014, General Cable announced the addition of Arctic Armor to its CCW® line of product. Utilizing the same precision-engineered, state-of-the-art equipment to produce a full line of continuously corrugated welded cable, General Cable’s CCW Arctic Armor has been engineered to perform in the north slopes of Alaska and beyond. With unsurpassed performance, CCW is virtually impervious to temperature extremes, passing a -60ºC ASTM D746-04 brittleness temperature impact test.

From 300 V/600 V UL Type ITC-HL or UL Type MC HL, 600 V UL Type MC-HL and 3/C VFD and 4/C UL Type MC-HL up to 35 kV UL Type MC-HL or MV-105, and automation cables, General Cable’s CCW line of hazardous location (HL) cables continue to demonstrate their design integrity in the most challenging environments.
