A new program from Belden and Mohawk has been launched which is aiming to make ordering fiber cable smarter. Being leaders in the telecommunications and datacommunications spaces, Belden and Mohawk have worked to answer a number of challenges that contractors and integrators face today. In addition to faster, easier part number identification, quicker quoting, and improved delivery times, Belden and Mohawk created a system that makes transitioning to its use a simple and intuitive one.
For this new initiative, the Belden - Mohawk collaboration focused on improving the 2 overarching areas of concern for any contractor, integrator, or distributor partner. The first was making Logistics Smart, and in addition to a unified fiber logistics for faster delivery, there have been improvements to the amount of stock on hand, faster lead times, and an expansion of their product portfolio. These changes alone are major improvements to any worksite or upcoming job, but by making pricing and quoting Smart too, we all now have access to streamlined part numbers, better pricing, and simplified service and technical support.
