--- title: "Berk-Tek Launches \"Own the Link\": An Innovative Fiber Product Line" description: Traditionally, transceivers have been purchased from equipment manufacturers. But since a transceiver’s performance has more to do with the cabling than the equipment, shouldn’t the cable and transceivers be specified together? This simplifies the supply and maintenance of the entire link. With Berk-Tek transceivers, you can own the entire link. image: https://www.accu-tech.com/hubfs/Berk-Tek_Button_Own_the_Link_Brochure.png --- {% set baseFontFamily = "Open Sans" %} /* Add the font family you wish to use. But since a transceiver’s performance has more to do with the cabling than the equipment, shouldn’t the cable and transceivers be specified together? This simplifies the supply and maintenance of the entire link. With Berk-Tek transceivers, you can own the entire link. With Berk-Tek's new fiber solutions paired with GIGAliteTM-10XB glass, you'll benefit with a power budget that can support a link distance of up to 500 meters. Standard compliant solutions offer only 150 meters. Of course, you can trade off distance for more connections, but you have the flexibility to scale your network and data center to whatever your current and future needs require.   [Download the Own the Link Brochure](https://www.accu-tech.com/hubfs/BT_Transceiver_Brochure.pdf) below for an introduction into Berk-Tek's innovative new fiber product line: [![Berk-Tek_Button_Own_the_Link_Brochure](https://www.accu-tech.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Berk-Tek_Button_Own_the_Link_Brochure.png?width=400&name=Berk-Tek_Button_Own_the_Link_Brochure.png "Berk-Tek_Button_Own_the_Link_Brochure")](https://www.accu-tech.com/hubfs/BT_Transceiver_Brochure.pdf) [![Download Brochure](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/54495/9c2add25-f3f1-4854-87da-686783618970.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/54495/9c2add25-f3f1-4854-87da-686783618970)   To find out more about Berk-Tek's solutions for your facility or next installation, or for any other questions, please [contact your local Accu-Tech representative](https://www.accu-tech.com/contact). - [Tweet](https://twitter.com/share) Topics: [Berk-Tek](https://www.accu-tech.com/accu-insider/topic/berk-tek) [fiber](https://www.accu-tech.com/accu-insider/topic/fiber) [Data Center](https://www.accu-tech.com/accu-insider/topic/data-center) [network](https://www.accu-tech.com/accu-insider/topic/network) ### Subscribe To Our Blog ### Additional Information ### About Accu-Tech Accu-Tech is a national distributor of Voice, Data, AV, Wireless, and Security solutions.
