This technology is now being applied to ALTOS Cable. The cable jacket maintains its medium-density polyethylene makeup (for maximum outside plant durability) while offering safer cable access for both the installer and the fibers inside the cable, as no sharp tools or excessive force are required for end access of the cable. FastAccess provides installers with all the ruggedness you expect from an outside plant cable, and yet it peels away on command.
