But what is IoT? IoT is a network of uniquely identifiable endpoints (or "things") that contain embedded technology to sense, collect and act on data locally or with external environments, without human interaction. We rely on our technology, and our technology is smart enough to make decisions, process information and help us **live and work more efficiently**.  With an IoT-ready building design, the cost of system integration is greatly diminished, new hardware requirements are minimal and leading-edge apps and web-based software are becoming the norm. Employing IoT creates more functional buildings, **higher efficiency** and a better workspace to **educate, innovate and produce**.  With conversions of power, light and data over the same physical infrastructure, Legrand has products to help you create an environment **built on the Internet of Things**. Legrand offers:  - High-performing Cabling Systems for Data and PoE - Floor-to-Ceiling Connectivity Options  - Cable Management & Pathways  - Options for Centralized and Decentralized Topologies - Physical Infrastructure Solutions for Edge Computing  - Power and Cooling Options  - Value Through Sustainability [![Legrand_IoT_App_Guide_Button.jpg](https://www.accu-tech.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Legrand_IoT_App_Guide_Button.jpg?width=504&height=360&name=Legrand_IoT_App_Guide_Button.jpg)](https://www.accu-tech.com/more-vendors/legrand/iot-application-guide)Download your free Legrand IoT Application Guide to learn more about preparing for the future with a network built upon the strength of the Internet of Things:  [![Click Here to Download Your Guide](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/54495/cf36e257-fd22-4919-a1c2-df18e1d21907.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/54495/cf36e257-fd22-4919-a1c2-df18e1d21907) - [Tweet](https://twitter.com/share) Topics: [Legrand](https://www.accu-tech.com/accu-insider/topic/legrand) [Infrastructure](https://www.accu-tech.com/accu-insider/topic/infrastructure) [Internet of Things](https://www.accu-tech.com/accu-insider/topic/internet-of-things) [iot](https://www.accu-tech.com/accu-insider/topic/iot) ### Subscribe To Our Blog ### Additional Information ### About Accu-Tech Accu-Tech is a national distributor of Voice, Data, AV, Wireless, and Security solutions.
