Class, assignments, socializing and more all happen on the Internet, and it's important that your campus is able to support the high volume of users and data. How can you equip your campus to meet these demands and prepare for the future?  Your cabling infrastructure is one place you can start. That might be a bit surprising, since we're talking about WiFi, but cabling is the foundation of this technology. WiFi requires a robust infrastructure to support the hundreds - even thousands - of devices used across your campus. With many classes taking place over the Internet simultaneously, your infrastructure needs to be able to support multiple streams at once. Plus, many other technologies rely on WiFi as well, including sensors and some security solutions, enabling a smarter and more efficient building automation and security system.  Let's look at how you can implement a robust network that can support the WiFi needs of students, professors, staff and visitors. The PanGen Cat 6A Solution is ideal to provide the necessary bandwidth for wireless access points (WAPs), as well as superior heat dissipation when using PoE to power the WAPs. Prysmian’s GenSPEED® 10 MTPTM Gen 5 Category 6A Cables feature enhanced alien crosstalk protection and EMI immunity, as well as improved heat dissipation. Combined with Panduit’s TG jack, which is rated to 65°C (5°C above the industry standard), PanGen’s Category 6A cabling solution has been designed to support the most extreme wireless installations. It's really ideal for these campus environments!  PanGen helps you offer the WiFi everyone at your campus requires.
