No-epoxy, no-polish connectors a.k.a. UniCam

No-epoxy, no-polish connectors are easy to install, high-performing connectors and Corning’s UniCam connector is the industry standard for field-termination connectors. A wide-array of skill sets can be utilized for both single-termination repair and replace or high-termination locations where hundreds, if not thousands, of individual terminations are required.

In no-epoxy, no-polish connectors, installers mate a cleaved fiber up against a pre-polished fiber stub pre-installed in the connector where it is then secured in place using a camming motion. The total installation ranges from only 1-5 minutes depending on user skill.
