Great Lakes’ goal has always been to provide services that go beyond customer expectations. Part of those services include ensuring that product arrives to the customer exactly how specified and in a safe and timely manner.
Enclosures can be configured—with Great Lakes accessories and third party/customer supplied product—to the customer’s exact specification so that product arrives ready for immediate deployment. Purchased Great Lakes accessories can be installed in enclosures at no additional charge. For a nominal fee, a number of additional parts can also be installed; these parts include patch panels, UPS systems, and even intelligent items such as PDUs, environmental sensors, and asset managers. These third party/customer supplied parts can be shipped from the customer to Great Lakes, or Great Lakes will source the appropriate parts and have items delivered to the warehouse for installation. When an enclosure and installed accessories become the standard for large projects and future orders, those products can become part of our “Rack & Stack” program. Enclosures can be pre-configured and available on the warehouse floor for immediate shipment. In addition, customer-specific part numbers can be assigned to configured enclosures for easy, consistent ordering.
Standard enclosures, including those configured with Great Lakes accessories, are able to ship within 24-48 hours after receipt of order. When enclosures are shipped using Great Lakes “Pre-pay and Add” shipping option, the customer is provided the best shipping coverage in the industry! The customer has 72 hours after delivery to inspect product and ensure it free of damage; one call to us and we will take care of the rest, including complete product replacement if necessary. Whether the enclosure is a planned need or an emergency requirement, Great Lakes is able to assemble the enclosure and it will ship from the most convenient distribution facility to ensure the timeliest delivery to the customer.
