--- title: Superior Essex Is Awarded Membership to the HDBaseT Alliance description: Superior Essex was recently granted membership with the HDBaseT Alliance, an organization focused on standardizing HDBaseT technology for whole-home and commercial distribution of uncompressed High-Definition (HD) multimedia. With this membership, HDBaseT Alliance certifies the 10Gain® XP CAT 6A CMR/CMP twisted pair copper cable products from Superior Essex as approved power and data solutions for HD audio and video applications. This certification allows 10Gain XP twisted-pair copper cable infrastructure to be used in HD A/V applications in home and enterprise spaces, where communications cabling is prevalent and interoperability between communications cables and HD A/V is critical. image: https://www.accu-tech.com/hubfs/10Gain-XP-CAT6A-HDBaseT.jpg --- {% set baseFontFamily = "Open Sans" %} /* Add the font family you wish to use. Its uniquely designed Isolation Wrap contains discontinuous sections of metallized material, held in place by a polymeric layer. 10Gain XP has a nominal 0.265 (CMP) or 0.275" (CMR) diameter that allows for higher cable density than other CAT 6A cable products. 10Gain XP is ideal for PoE applications requiring higher levels of current and simultaneously up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet. 10Gain XP is certified for HD A/V applications using HDBaseT Class A and B protocol.   **Find out more about 10Gain® XP Category 6A premise cabling by [downloading the data sheet](https://www.accu-tech.com/hubfs/10Gain-XP-CAT6A.pdf) below:** **[![10Gain-XP-CAT6A_2-1](https://www.accu-tech.com/hs-fs/hubfs/10Gain-XP-CAT6A_2-1.jpg?width=250&name=10Gain-XP-CAT6A_2-1.jpg "10Gain-XP-CAT6A_2-1")](https://www.accu-tech.com/hubfs/10Gain-XP-CAT6A.pdf)** [![Download Data Sheet](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/54495/48aa08bf-9d7c-4ffb-8ebd-fd3098157118.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/54495/48aa08bf-9d7c-4ffb-8ebd-fd3098157118)   For more information regarding Superior Essex's membership into the HDBaseT Alliance, [please click here](http://ce.superioressex.com/news/press-releases/2015/10/22/Superior-Essex-is-Awarded-Membership-to-the-HDBaseT-Alliance/). To learn more about Superior Essex's 10Gain® XP Category 6A premise cabling, or to use it in your facility or your next installation, or for any other inquires, [contact your local Accu-Tech representative](https://www.accu-tech.com/contact) today.  - [Tweet](https://twitter.com/share) Topics: [Superior Essex](https://www.accu-tech.com/accu-insider/topic/superior-essex) [cabling](https://www.accu-tech.com/accu-insider/topic/cabling) ### Subscribe To Our Blog ### Additional Information ### About Accu-Tech Accu-Tech is a national distributor of Voice, Data, AV, Wireless, and Security solutions.
