Designed to fasten wire bundles and harness components quickly, the cable ties consist of a smooth nylon strap with a head, or pawl, containing a stainless steel barb. When engaged, the barb presses into the nylon strap, providing a tight grip and a strong, long-lasting hold. Designed without notches, the barbed cable tie from 3M has infinite locking positions. The barb can be locked at any point along the strap, allowing more precise positioning than typical ratchet-style cable ties. The nylon strap’s ribbed pattern provides extra grip to prevent slippage. The cable ties are sold by most major electrical product distributors. They are available in black and natural, and in seven different lengths ranging from four to 28 inches.   3M™ Steel Barbed Cable Ties are made with high quality 6/6 nylon and designed with a stainless steel pawl which helps to grip tighter and provide a reliable hold on wire bundles. 3M™ Steel Barbed Cable Tie CTSB8BK50-M is 7.3" in length. - UV Weather Resistant Black. - 50 lb tensile strength. - 1000 pcs/bag. - Fast, tough grip for industrial applications - Infinite locking positions for secure wire bundles - Ribbed body grips the bundle to prevent slippage - Curved tip allows for faster threading and install UV weather resistant for outdoor use   For more information about 3M, their strong, reliable cable ties or any other telecommunications information need, please contact your local Accu-Tech representative today, [here](https://www.accu-tech.com/contact). - [Tweet](https://twitter.com/share) Topics: [tools](https://www.accu-tech.com/accu-insider/topic/tools) [cable management](https://www.accu-tech.com/accu-insider/topic/cable-management) [3M](https://www.accu-tech.com/accu-insider/topic/3m) ### Subscribe To Our Blog ### Additional Information ### About Accu-Tech Accu-Tech is a national distributor of Voice, Data, AV, Wireless, and Security solutions.
