Corning: Proper Labeling Of Data Center Infrastructure Compnents

An important step in the documentation process is proper labeling of the all the data center infrastructure components. Every component of the telecommunications infrastructure should be labeled in an independent manner. For purposes of tracking the fiber, the most important things to keep in mind with the labeling system are buildings, telecommunication rooms, fiber panels, port numbers, pedestal labels and of course, the fiber itself.
