    The JRF-4 Universal Cable Stripping Tool has been especially developed and designed to enable our customers to quickly adjust, set, and strip a wide variety of cables.

     

    About the Tool

    Versatility

    The JRF-4 llows users to address a wide variety of cables including primary cable jacket and insulation as well as secondary jacketing ranging from 1/2"-3" cable diameter. 

    150 lbs of clamping force 

    Tension handle to allow users to properly secure the cable making sure the blade does not come into contact with the conductor.

    Ball bearing rollers

    29 Delrin™ ball bearings allow for a smooth rotation around the cable while maintaining optimum clamping force.

    Safety factor

    Replaces straight blades when stripping cable. Lacerations are a leading cause of recordable job site injuries. 


    Application Areas:
    Designed for use with all 600V secondary cable jackets ranging from ½" to 3" in diameter. The JRF-4 Universal cable stripper has been designed to not only address primary cable jacket but also effectively removes both EPR and XLP insulations from primary conductors. 
    • EPR - Ethylene propylene rubber, double planed blade to lift and cut jacket and insulation
    • XLP - Cross linked polyethylene, single planed blade
