This is especially important, because uLAN applications like building automation and security often require devices to be located more than 100 meters from the switch. • EXT-100: this is a lower-cost alternative to extend PoE+ (30 Watts) and 100 Mbps to 385 meters
• OneReach™: this utilizes a copper/fiber cable to extend PoE+ (30 Watts) and 1 Gbps to a kilometer or more
• PowerGIG™-OAC: when local power is available, this managed switch can deliver PoE++ (up to 90 Watts) and 1 Gbps to 100 meters
