Protect Sensitive Electronic Equipment with the New Proline S1 Enclosure from nVent

by Teddi Strassburger on March 5, 2021

nvent proline s1Information technology continues to be an extremely fast-paced, huge growth industry with unlimited potential. As data centers grow and expand, so do the rack densities within them. The cabinets that house servers are trending taller and deeper with more and more equipment being stored within. This equipment includes not only servers but all of the necessary equipment to service them; cables, power, cooling, etc. High-density cabinets yield higher heat loads requiring thermal management. These high heat loads are quickly moving beyond the capabilities of traditional air-cooling and into the realm of liquid-to-air and liquid-to-chip cooling, and in many cases a hybrid of the two. Newer cabinets are being designed to meet these needs including some form of airflow management, power and cooling mounting provisions, and cable management and entry.

Enclosure manufacturers, like nVent, are creating standard cabinets to address data center concerns. The ProLine S1 Server Cabinet was designed as a multi-functional enclosure, meeting the rigors of the data center while also bringing application flexibility at a great price point. nVent is excited to announce the addition of 35 pre-configured standard models designed to meet your data center needs while significantly reducing lead time.
